Escape to Hellbender Hill, a one-of-a-kind retreat nestled on 441 acres in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. Our haven comprises four distinct cabins, each offering a unique experience.
The grand cabin, ideal for large groups, accommodates up to 12 guests. It boasts four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a spacious 2000 sqft layout. Recently remodeled, it features memory foam king-size beds, a modern kitchen with a dual fuel extra-large stove and convection oven, reverse osmosis filtered drinking water, and all the expected amenities. Smart TVs and remote ceiling fans adorn each bedroom, while the living room showcases a gas fireplace and seating for 9-11 people, along with a 65” smart TV. The dining area shines with an 8’ live-edge locally handmade resin-poured table, seating for 10, and an additional 4 bar stools at the kitchen island.
The three smaller creekside cabins offer cozy 550 sqft spaces, sleeping up to 6 guests each. They feature a queen bedroom, twin bunk beds, and two full beds in the loft. Each cabin includes a screened-in porch, two TVs, a full bathroom, and a well-appointed kitchen.
Hellbender Hill is a secluded gem, situated at the end of a 1-mile public/private gravel road shared by seven landowners. Along the way, you'll be greeted by a picturesque creek, a captivating art display created by our neighbors, and the entrance to an active homesteader property. As you ascend the hill, you'll discover the vast expanse of our 441-acre sanctuary. We recommend front-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicles for access.
Located just 18 miles from Dollywood, Hellbender Hill offers the perfect blend of serenity and proximity to attractions. A fully stocked trout pond awaits just yards from the front deck, complete with fish food for feeding enjoyment. Whether you explore the property, relax on the deck, or unwind in the 6-person hot tub, your vacation experience will be exclusive and unforgettable.
As stewards of this land, we fell in love with it at first sight. Marked trails are available for easy navigation, and we plan to create more throughout the entire 441 acres. Our aim is not development but rather custodianship of this slice of "God's country," teeming with wildlife, including bears, foxes, raccoons, salamanders, bald eagles, hawks, and more. When hiking, please wear appropriate gear and watch your step.

RULES: Must be at least 25 to book. Additional guest fee over 28 guests No 3rd party bookings. Disclosed pet fee with approval, $500 undisclosed pet fee, $50/hr late check out fee. No one night reservations less then one month in advance, 5 minimum stay during holidays. Cancellation Policy No refunds, travel insurance is offered. $1000 refundable security deposit required. We are not responsible for things outside of our control including but not limited to the weather, wildlife activity, disruptions in power or internet, public roads, noise from surrounding properties, acts of nature or local laws.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
